Steiger NZ Training 2018

Fri 16 - Sat 17 March 2018

Once a Christian nation, New Zealand has become increasingly secular and the perspective of kiwis towards Christianity has become increasingly apathetic, cynical and even anti-Christian. Today many young adults, in particular, see the church as irrelevant to their day-to-day life - a dead, empty tradition of the past.

God’s heart is broken for this lost generation.

We want to inspire you to have a passionate faith in Jesus, and to share that with an urban, globalised generation of young adults that have forgotten God. It is also an opportunity to get to know more about Steiger, and to become actively involved in missions.

Topics will include:
  • Understanding of the Global Youth Culture, Steiger’s vision, values, principles and models
  • Cultural apologetics
  • Art and missions
  • Community and the Global Youth Culture

There will be time to practically apply some of the teaching.

Speakers include:
  • David Pierce
  • Bryce Gilmor
  • Rodney Lake (Thinking Matters)
  • Luke Collis (Unashamed)
    and others.
Dates & Times

Start: Friday 16 March, 7pm
Finish: Saturday 17 March, 9pm

You can also stick around and hear David Pierce preach at Bethlehem Baptist Church at all their services on Sunday.
